My story

Why I chose recovery coaching

To those who are struggling with an Eating Disorder, working to stop their ED behaviors, and healing a relationship with food or your body,

I see you. I've been there and know what it is like. I struggled with Anorexia Nervosa during my teenage years and into young adulthood. There was a point where I thought I would never recover.  I thought recovery seemed too overwhelming.

I never had that lightbulb moment, but a moment of taking one step forward. One leap of faith. And that one step turned into more small steps. Over time, I learned to stop behaviors, sit with the discomfort, and challenge my thoughts. It was not about being ready, but being willing. Eventually, I recovered and discovered that full recovery from an Eating Disorder is possible. And recovery is so worth it.

I decided to pursue recovery coaching because I want to meet you where you are and help you take those steps. Having a support network is essential to recovery. I will part of your support network to push you to challenge your Eating Disorder and show you compassion while doing it.
