Green Ivy on Stone Wall

Find food, mind, and life freedom.

Welcome. If you are visiting this website, you are likely struggling with food and it is impacting your life. Taking the first step towards recovery can feel daunting and overwhelming and it can be scary to give up something that has served you. I can empathize.  As a recovery coach, I can help you with stopping those behaviors and challenge those thoughts that have burdened your life.

Hello

My name is Lucie Waldman

I have a Masters of Counseling Psychology program from Northeastern University and work as outpatient Eating Disorder therapist. I am recovered from an Eating Disorder myself and published my own book about it called, The Jots of Becoming. My journey to recovery inspired me to coach and I pull from my own experience when coaching.

The Jots of Becoming

After recovering from Anorexia Nervosa, I published a book featuring insights into my own recovery. It specifically omits all numbers and explicit mentions of Eating Disorder Behavior use to center the focus on recovery, not the Eating Disorder. I recommend that my coaching clients purchase my book as I use it as part of the coaching work.

"If you are on the fence about choosing recovery, know you are not alone. I was once there with you and hurdling the fence for years on end. But the climb over not only saved my life but changed the course of it. It is the reason I am writing this now because I have gained the insight to say that life is so much better now. Putting in the work is difficult, but the key is taking it one step at a time." -pg.160

"This book is truly amazing! I can’t even put into words how inspiring it is. It helped me on some of my hardest days in residential for my eating disorder. I would read this book to the clients... it would help so many people struggling with an eating disorder. This book is really a must read if you have an Ed or know someone struggling! There are even tips on how to get through meals, letter to body and honestly amazing poems that you can read both ways! I truly wish I could give this book to everyone out there. It really is a must read:)"- A review from someone in recovery who purchased by book.
